Homeowner is responsible for the following:

Permits: Depending on your city and location we include permits into your pool package. We may need your help to work together on permits depending on your property and your city/county codes office.
Dig Day: First day of digging homeowner must be present to sign off on Pool layout/location in yard for placement of pool.
Fence:
- Homeowner responsible for their own fence installation.
- Must refer to your local codes.
- Homeowner responsible for their own drawing for pool permit of their fence installation.
- Homeowner responsible to remove fence for access to backyard. Refer to contract.
Electrical:
- Included as a "standard" installation in all pool prices.
- Homeowner will be responsible for any additional electrical cost such as. If homeowner wants/needs extra Amps/more service brought into home to service pool equipment, additional lighting packages, or location is not considered standard installation.
Plumber for Pool Heaters: "If" license plumber is needed.
- Heat Pump: License plumber not needed. Electrician and homeowner must know what proper breaker and installation methods.
- Gas Heater: Homeowner responsible for paying for a licensed plumber/Gas company to install gas line and connection into pool heater.
- Propane Heater: Homeowner responsible for paying for a licensed plumber/Propane company to install Propane tank, line and connection into pool heater.
Rock:
- American Pool & Spa provides rock to properly backfill the pool standard installation. The price on this PDF is considered standard.
- The allotted amount is $1,800 and anything more than that is Homeowner's responsibility. For example: If more rock is needed for the backside of the pool because your yard is not level. Homeowner must pay the extra rock cost.
- If we hit "rock" underground this is also extra cost for labor, equipment rental and materials.
Crane:
- Included in the standard installation price
- Due to access homeowner is responsible to pay for the additional crane cost if we have to go over the home. Extra cost could be anywhere from $1,500 to $3,200
- Also, All yards are different, and weather plays a huge factor to install the fiberglass pool.
